Hank Beyer
Hank Beyer started Topsides Up in January 2011. After various businesses from boat building/maintenance to sailing lessons/coaching, he has now combined both of his skills into the one business.
He has been involved in sailing since the age of 9 and has been a constant contestant in various yacht races from ocean racing to inner harbour.
As a qualified shipwright in his chosen profession he has over the years has gained valuable knowledge of boats, yachts, dinghy’s and other vessels. Part of being a good sailor/skipper also helps when you understand how boats/yacht’s work from the ground up.
Over the past 20 years, Hank has been involved with boat building, boat repairs & maintenance and training/coaching students to sail and how to compete is sailing races and regatta’s.
With certified qualification to instruct, Hank can provide not only a fun day on the water, he can also credit your hours of sailing lessons towards your own license for accreditation.

Maree has joined Topsides up to help maintain and grow the business to service the community of boating and the people.
Her expertise in business management, coaching & sailing passion has set her apart and with her knowledge, will ensure all “general management” of Topsides Up will be maintained at the highest possible level.
Maree’s background was in financial management and also in running her own company Matrix Mindset Pty Ltd will bring the level of corporate professionalism but also keep the personal touch about the business as Topsides Up is not only a boat maintenance business but also a people business.Don’t let your boat drift away or wear away.
